ASSOCIATION
an undergraduate journal of architecture, art, and planning at Cornell AAP. Run fully by students, the publication features design work, essays, and visual research that explore the built environment through creative and critical perspectives.
Volume 13 unfolded as a book about process.
It’s a volume that refuses to present a single, polished narrative and instead invites readers, creators, and viewers to co-author its meaning. Volume 13 traces the fragments, misalignments, sketches, reworks, and reinterpretations that shape how projects come into being. Every page asks you to read not just what is shown, but how it came to be.

In April, we launched V13 through a collaborative installation: handmade plywood tables crafted by architecture students, and screenprinted notebooks and tote bags produced by art students. The launch became an extension of the book itself, becoming an active space of making, sharing, and unfolding interpretations together.
